Nikolas Tesla

Now, I can rant about how Tesla is so good now. Tesla is the geek of geniuses, and the genius of geeks.

 

"I don't care that they stole my idea...I care that they don't have any of their own."

He invented many of the fundamental things we use today before many of the other people who the inventions were credited for. Here is the list:

Inventions

Radio - Tesla invented the radio years before Marconi did and said:

 

"He used seventeen of my patents."

X-Ray - Tesla research the entire range of X-Ray and experimented with Edison, who accidentally gave too much radiation to an assistant that the assistant died. 

Remote control - Tesla patented the first remote controlled model boat which he piloted around in pools.

Fluorescent Light (kind of) - At the Chicago World Fair, Tesla used bent glass tubes and arranged them into scientists' names

Robots - Tesla had wrote about how to create an automaton that can perform human-like actions

Laser - Tesla invented the laser, or the death ray, in his later years

 

Alternating Current - The Alternating Current made it possible to switch and alternate the current so the voltage is affected. This made it possible to convert electricity to high and low voltages. The Alternating Current made it possible for electricity to be transferred a long distance away. Tesla and Edison fought and were against each other in the war of the currents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Theories - Tesla had thought and wrote about the wireless communication, internet, cell phones, and free wireless energy many decades before they became reality. Tesla also wrote about a flying machine, which would be his last patent, that was part helicopter and airplane. He did not have enough money for building a prototype.  He was WAY ahead of his time. 

Tesla Coil - The Tesla Coil is one of the main ways to transmit AC energy and plants are used world-wide. Tesla dreamed of transmitting energy wirelessly across the world, and his inventions led to this.
